Dooley Retains NY GAA Post

After a hotly contested campaign, the race for chairman of the New York GAA came to a close when incumbent Seamus Dooley was re-elected for a second term.

Elections were held last Sunday at the Riverdale Steakhouse, with all 82 delegates’ votes tabulated under a strict election process. Although a closer outcome was predicted, Dooley won the vote by a wide margin of 55-27 over challenger John Moore.
