Child Passports

“I AM an American citizen. I got my citizenship through my ex-husband
who I divorced two years ago. We had two children together, ages 12 and
10. I would like to bring them out of the country this summer for a holiday
in Ireland, but they do not have passports. Does my husband have any say
in getting them U.S. passports?
