| Van for NYC FOR
40-years, Van Morrison has drawn upon the greats of rhythm and blues to
create his own distinctive and influential blend of soul and Celtic influences.
That Celtic soul has produced some of the most romantic music ever reported,
and his music has been on any worthwhile chick flick soundtrack over the
last decade.
On Pay the Devil, Morrison’s recent release which Lost Highway Records
put out last year, Morrison explores his inner cowboy with amazing results.
On that album, he recorded a mix of his favorite country compositions,
as well as a few equally strong originals.
If you walk down Seventh Avenue in New York in April and see a tumbleweed,
pardner, don’t worry! It’s just promotion for a Van concert
at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, April, 29. The show
starts at 7:30pm sharp, so don’t be late! You might be on the wrong
side of Van’s six-shooter, and you know how ornery he can get!
