The Prize The Winner
of the Irish Abroad "Fly Away Draw" will be entitled to receive two
round trip, economy fare tickets for travel between the United
States and Ireland courtesy of IrishAbroad.com and Aer Lingus.
The Rules / Earning Entries Each regular will receive 5 entries for signing up for IrishAbroad
Membership (becoming a regular). A regular may earn an additional entry per day
(every 24 hours) by clicking the "Lucky Button" on the competition
page. Each person a regular refers, who in turn signs up for IrishAbroad
membership, will earn that regular 3 entries, provided that the new member
enters the username of that regular into the space provided in his/her profile.
Am I Eligible? The contest is open to all Regulars of IrishAbroad.com, age 18 or over, who
are legally permitted to travel between the chosen destinations. No purchase or
payment is required to enter. The Contest is void where prohibited by law and is
subject to all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Terms and Restrictions Valid winners will be notified via the email account they have provided in
their profile, and have 7 days from date of notification to respond with a
mailing address confirmation. Failure to confirm with IrishAbroad.com via email
within 7 days of announcement will disqualify the winner. IrishAbroad.com is not
responsible for entries not received due to lost, failed, delayed or interrupted
computer, phone line, hardware, or software connections and transmissions, for
miscommunications, or for other electronic failures, malfunctions or errors.
By accepting the prize,
winner agrees to the use of his/her name, voice, and/or likeness for the purpose
of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless
prohibited by law. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible,
fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed
declaration and releases where required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate
winner selected. Neither IrishAbroad.com, nor its affiliates shall be
responsible for any damages, taxes, or expenses that the winner might incur as a
result of this competition, or receipt and/or use of prize. Prizes are awarded
on the condition that IrishAbroad.com and its affiliates will have no liability
whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from the
acceptance and/or possession of the prizes. You must provide IrishAbroad.com
with valid contact information and may not impersonate or misrepresent your
identity. IrishAbroad.com reserves the right to terminate any account, and
associated membership, containing untruthful information. IrishAbroad.com
reserves the right to update/change program rules at any time and for any
reason. Winners are responsible for transportation costs to and from airports
and all associated taxes or fees. The Contest is void where prohibited by law
and is subject to all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
One Account per Member. You may only sign up once and maintain one Membership.
Violators will be automatically disqualified.
Rules for Referrals To qualify for the entries associated with
referring people
to the site, you must meet the following requirements
and Irish Abroad.com reserves the right to disqualify
anyone who fails to meet these requirements on an ongoing
basis:
If your Referrals become IrishAbroad.com regulars, you
will receive 3 entries for each person you refer, provided
they fill in your Username in the "Referred by"
field.
Violators of our referral program will automatically
be disqualified for prizes. All disqualification will
be handled exclusively by and at the sole discretion
of Irish Abroad. If you believe you have been wrongly
disqualified, please contact Irish Abroad as stated
below. Members who have referrals who become disqualified
will NOT receive points associated with the disqualified
referral.
Spamming: Regulars may not use spam to obtain referrals.
You may not use unsolicited email, usenet, or message
board postings ("spam") to gather referrals.
(Usenet and message board spam are messages sent or
posted which are unrelated to the topic of discussion
of the particular news group or message board.) The
use of spam to promote the Irish Abroad.com service
has strict negative consequences. Not only may IrishAbroad.com
terminate the Membership of any Member who in IrishAbroad.com's
reasonable opinion has used unsolicited email to gain
referrals (a "Spammer"); You may be subject
to state and federal penalties and other legal consequences
under applicable law if you send unsolicited email.
Marketing Claims You agree not to make any misrepresentations to any of your referrals or
potential referrals with respect to compensation typically received by
IrishAbroad.com members or with respect to compensation that potential members
are likely to receive.
Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, neither IrishAbroad.com nor
any of its parents, members, subsidiaries, affiliates, service providers,
licensors, officers, directors or employees shall be liable for any direct,
indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or
relating to this regular's referral system, including any reliance on the
leaderboard, wrongful disqualification from the contest, or other change in your
status based on rule changes. If you are dissatisfied with the IrishAbroad.com
administration of the Contest, your sole and exclusive remedy is to cancel your
membership in IrishAbroad.com. Void where prohibited.
