Judith Regan responding to the outcry over her decision to publish O.J.
Simpson’s book If I Did It.
The HarperCollins project was pulled after public protests and growing
unease at two dozen Fox affiliates. Regan was fired by Rupert Murdoch
who called the project “ill-conceived.” As we go to press,
there is speculation that Regan will sue Murdoch’s News Corporation,
which owns the HarperCollins book division and her ReganBooks. –
