Bus and Van Services

Information about these services can be obtained at the desks found in all baggage claim areas. Two companies that provide services from JFK, are -
Carey Transportation (718) 632-0500). Every half hour a bus departs for the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 8th and 42nd and the Grand Central Terminal at Park and 41st. Both take around an hour, and cost $13.

Grey Line Air Shuttle (212) 315-3006. Services most Manhattan hotels. Your trip will be about an hour and will cost $16.

The 'A' train will get you to Manhattan in around 90 minutes. To reach New York City Transit Authority 'JFK' Subway station, a frequent bus service is available from the airport. Ask at the info desks for details.
The cost is about $1.50

Taxis

Outside all Arrival halls. Be prepared to pay at least $30 as well as all tolls. The ride will take you about an hour.
