Flann O’Brien 1911 – 1966

A man of many names, satirical columnist and novelist Flann O’Brien was born Bríain Ó Nualláin (anglicized as Brian O’Nolan) to an Irish-speaking family in Strabane, County Tyrone, on 5 October 1911.
