This Irish Genealogy site offers the Irish descendant (from New York, Canada, UK, Australia...) the chance to trace their Irish family tree and search for their surname origins and the records of their Irish ancestor's birth, marriage or death.
Establishing the human being as an identifiable individual is at once
the raison d’ętre and the res adversae of genealogy. It seems difficult
to believe that the process could flounder when bolstered by first and second
names and a numbered address, until a recourse to census returns makes it
clear that, every now and again, as many as four persons, all similarly
named, can reside at the one address.
