The curragh (Irish: curragh) is the traditional fishing boat of the Irish western seaboard, and will be seen in use from Donegal to Kerry, even to this day. The coracle, a basket-like skin-covered boat, has been much more traditional on inland waters, such as the Boyne, and has all but died out during the last few decades.
