Niamh Geoghegan and her good friend Shirley Fitzpatrick have embarked on an unusual journey around Ireland. On June 21st, the day of the summer solstice, they set off from the Hill of Tara to take their mobile sauna 'Bosca Beatha' on its maiden voyage.

As you follow them on their journey through their blog at https://boscabeatha.wordpress.com/ you will hear about the various places they visit on their way, from the valley of the High Kings at Tara, to Castlebaldwin, Carrowkeel and Strandhill in Sligo, and enjoying a walk up to  Queen Maeves tomb on Knocknarae.

They then moved on to Easky where they met some amazing people and watched the full moon and continued on their adventure to Glencar Waterfall and Lake in County Leitrim.

Then it was goodbye to Sligo and Leitrim and they are now making their way to the South West of the country to Cork.
