Who is Jeanbeanie  ? Its a name given to me by my children as I was always making Beanies to keep them warm. When they grew up I became a dancer again and performed to raise money for the Womans and Childrens hospital. Unfortunately I became very ill due to osteo artritis and a heart condition, so that was the end of my dancing career.

As I am not very physical anymore and on disability, the longing to see my family in Ireland has made me homesick as well. I started making Beanies again for the children and grandchilden to keep my mind active and when they were all Beanied out , my Son suggested I sell them online, Its only the beginning of Jeanbeanies shop, but I now feel I am contributing in some way . My handmade items are all made with love and patience.
